REPUBLICAN WOMEN OF GREATER POLK

The Republican Women of Greater Polk will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at The Olive Garden on Cypress Gardens Boulevard in Winter Haven.

Polk County Commissioner Ed Smith will be the guest speaker. All Republican women and their guests are invited.

REPUBLICAN WOMEN'S CLUB OF LAKELAND

The Republican Women's Club of Lakeland will have its monthly luncheon on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at The Terrace Hotel, 329 E. Main St.

Ryan Patmintra, the regional director for U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, will speak on the new immigration plan that Sen. Rubio has co-sponsored. Following his short remarks, he will take questions and have an open discussion. Lunch will be a buffet, $20 per person.

The club also would like to announce the addition of Valaria Jorn as assistant treasurer and Erica Jordan moving to third vice president.

U. S. Rep. Dan Webster, R-Orlando, will host a meet and greet from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at his satellite office in Winter Haven City Hall, 451 Third St. N.W.

Members of the community are invited to visit with the congressman, meet his staff and learn more about the constituent services available from his office.

Webster represents the 10th Congressional District, which includes Polk City, Auburndale and Winter Haven.
